I got this and the recharger stand as a gift. It works exactly as you’d expect, gets around 20 hours of gameplay and recharges very quickly.
The thing about this is that it’s proprietary and just as effective as rechargeable batteries, which are more versatile. I have four controllers now and a small pile of rechargeables that I use for the controllers, my universal remote, fire detectors, etc.
Since these last nearly as long as the packs–if not the same amount–why not invest in a product that will last longer than the shelf-life of a single gaming system?
