This game exceeded all expectations. Innumerable ways to customize terrains, teams and games make replay value very high. Connect to ds wifi and challenge players all over the world to worms “deathmatches”, complete with a worldwide “leaderboard” (I’m currently ranked around 500 and moving up). Lots of fun.

This is one of the best Worms games I can recall, and I’ve been playing them for 15 years on the computer. The balance is great, the weapons are all there, and the multiplayer is addictive. It even has Wifi for internet play. AI is a bit cheap, but that’s typical.

I had a gift certificate and included this game on the recommendation of the store clerk. All I can say is this is one of the more fun games I have played on the DS. I know the Worm games have been around for a while, but I have never played before. With this game it doesn’t matter. There is a great tutorial and so many different types of games to play, this game has long lasting appeal. Also, you can play with others over the internet. I have put down my sudoku, brain trainers and crossword games and am now fighting worms. Highly recommend this game.

The best worms game in the series has always been Worms Armageddon. They’ve made sequels, but none have come close to the supremacy that this game had in the series…until this one. This one captures the essence that made Worms spectacular. I love it. Between the online game play to the number of campaigns in single player mode, to the arsenal of weapons (all of which were ported from Armageddon; they didn’t take any away), it is a thing of beauty. Now, if they could only just port this to the other consoles and make an updated PC version of it…

The game is advertised as a multi and single player game. Single player is more than likely what you will be doing the most anyway for two reasons. One reason is the wifi nintendo server isn’t the best. Your other options for multiplayer, are play up to 4 friends on 4 ds’. Otherwise play up to four passing one ds around each turn. This game has something for everyone action, strategy and puzzle modes. The game consists of all the aspects that make a game great the puzzle modes are challenging, many gameplay modes, 35 missions and free online play. Only down fall less weapons than on World Party and other verisions and the computer even on high AI is kind of easy. Of coarse best of all is when you are in a boring car ride or at a boring family event you and a friend or just you can play worms without a computer or tv!
