I must first disclose that I love docks. I bought a 3rd party one for my PSP-1000 and I have one for my Cybershot and for my iPhone etc. It just makes it nice to set your system on something, not just a cable to dingle around.

First thing to then keep in mind is that this is just the dock. No cables come with it. You have to use the ones with your system.

So what can this puppy do? Simple thing is to just have an area to charge your PSPgo on. Set it down and walla, it charges. But, if you want a little more, you can then directly hookup the PSP USB cable to it as well so when you set it down, not only does it charge but can auto sync with the Sony Media Manager software. So now on the dock, I can charge and sync new content over to my system. Also, if you purchase the proper cable, the dock acts as a video out so you can then set your system up on the dock and plug it to your receiver or TV.

Sleek and functional is all I have to say.

Only con I would have to say is that it uses up the USB and power cable that you own so when you wanna go, you either have to take your cables apart or purchase a second pair which is what I did.

I bought this so I could have a dock for my sony xbr4 40inch LCD t.v..

Cons: 1. It’s just a Cradle….Thats it. No charging Cord. No Video Cable

Pros: 1. Any old PSP cord you have from your old PSP will work….it’s a 5v and so is the old psp. I used one of my old travel charging chords….works great.

    2. You do need to buy a chord but then you can choose RCA or Component. RCA is more versatile when Traveling but Component looks fantastic.

    3. I pair my PS3 Controller with the PSP Go, set it on the dock, sit back, and let the dock and the PSP do all the work while I’m 6 feet away playing God of War on my T.V.

This thing probably should have came with a charging cable. But The durability of the product doesn’t make me question the price too much. I definitely recommend.

For $30, the PSP Go cradle accomplishes much of the same work done by simply using the USB/AC cable provided with the system: It syncs and charges your PSP system. It’s sturdy, functional, and pretty much a no-frills piece of equipment.

    So why buy it?

Well, from what I can tell, there’s really only one reason, and it’s the reason I purchased it: It charges and holds up your system while you use a PS3 controller to play the Go. In other words, you can now use the PSP Go with its battery-draining Bluetooth functionality AND fully see the system while the system is in the closed position… all while still using a PS3 wireless controller to watch movies, listen to music, and play all your PSP software.

At $30, it’s a bit overpriced, and I wish there was a way to listen to headphones while using it, but it definitely accomplishes what it sets out to do, providing a convenient way to charge, sync, and play PSP games using the PS3 controller.

This small piece of hardware is awesome. Docks the PSP go in an upright position (great for charging, syncing, video-out, or charging while outputting video). It’s rather heavy and definitely won’t go tip over without a lot of persuasion, and has rubber feet to keep it from sliding away. It looks snazzy sitting on my desk.

My only beef with it is that in order to charge while outputting video (and you’ll want to, especially if you decide to play with a PS3 controller), you have to buy the original PSP’s charger. I hadn’t foreseen that.

Overall a good quality dock and serve its purpose. But here is the drawback of the item: First off YOU CANNOT charge the unit and sync with your PC at the same time UNLESS you have the PSP-3000/PSP-2000 AC Adapter (Of course not included with the dock, which can be purchased for an additional $29.99) So unless you do not care about being able to charge the unit while you play/sync the PSP-Go then this is for you. Otherwise get ready to purchase the AC adapter as mentioned before.
