PS2 to PS3 Controller Converter Adapter
This version of the adapter is hit and miss. Theoretically it works but isn’t compatible at times with controllers and certain driving wheels. DragonPlus came out with a version 2 of this same adapter and works beautifully. Since Sony has released firmware
2.7 that has disabled some of the ps2-ps3 controller adapters, Version 2 works great. I immediately tried some PS2 games in the PS3, and the DS2 worked as well as rumble. I also tested Battlefiled Bad Company and other PS3 games with rumble and the DS2 worked with rumble on PS3 games. I also have 3 steering wheels and those all worked with force feedback as well.
There is no PS button on this item, but the “analog” button on DS2′s works the same as the PS button ( press once or hold function). There is also a trick to get to the XMB or to register some controllers by using Up and Select as the PS button.
For those wondering about input lag, Version 2 had no lag I could detect. Aiming in FPS was right on.

My feelings are hurt buying this useless thing, First off forget about GH3 simple games like Iron man and MK vs DC the analog bottons dont work useing my PS2 controller!!! for Iron man i can punch thats it and MK vs DC nothing works…….
And here is the worst part, I have a NYKO type 2 controller for my PS2 with the keypad built in, hot as hell and good size (hate sony size controllers to small!) and i wanted to use that controller on my PS3 and online play !
Maybe my adapter is defective but it was fresh out the package, Im looking to send it back if you are thinking about buying beware and GOOD LUCK !!

Like the title says…there’s a delay
I’m used to arcade button response where I can do raging demon really fast. Playing CvS2 or 3S on the PS2 can handle the response times, but this adapter for the PS3 can’t keep up.

Works great and with no delays. Try it with MGS 4, PES 2010 and GTA 4; no complains except for the absence of the sensitive L2 R2 buttons (not adapters fault though)

I bought this to get my PS 2 guitar to work with the PS 3. It doesn’t, at least not yet, so it’s hard to give this product a thumbs up
