This is one of the only games that my family has all enjoyed playing on the computer. It is a very simple concept compared to today’s computer games, but it has some historical facts in it, and it can be completed in a short amount of time. We did not like to newer versions of the game, only this one.

I first got this game was I a kid. I loved it then and I still love it now. Perfect for family home evenings, lessons on LDS Church History, family histroy lessons, and for kids learning about the Oregon Trail or life in the mid 1800′s. And at the price its being offered, its a steal. Even now as an adult, I still find the game educational and entertaining. And if your a LDS parent who can’t afford a Church History vacation, take it in your living room with all your kids by playing this game. The first edition was cool in a 16 bit mode but the second edition is more colorful, realistic and educational. Happy hunting!

I remember playing this game in the fourth grade, and I loved it. I bought it recently and it still plays well. I can’t say enough good things about it.
