I am fanatic of the fight games, especially of the King of Fighters, I’m should say to you that this collection is very but very good for those that loved these games, but if you are not, you didn’t possibly like it. The only disadvantage of the game is that this doesn’t have VS mode and it is quite tedious to have to compete with the same team until your competitor defeats you (when you play with another person…).

One of the funnest fighting game series ever finally gets a Wii compilation. You get the original (94),the Orochi Saga (95-97), and the saga’s dream match (98). There are challenges that unlock art and both classic and arranged music.

Unlike the PS2 and PSP versions, there is no loading between fights, even in KoF 98. Also the games run smooth as silk, with no lag or slowdown.

Fighting game fans simply can’t go wrong with this compilation.

I never really got into the King of Fighters games but when I saw this I knew I had to add it to my collection. The game has its challenging moments and has multiple difficulties and quite a variety of characters. I have to say this is probably one of the better fighting franchises in the world. Not the best but its up there with the word great.

With the 5 games included there is this challenge mode which is how you get your unlockables and is a nice feature that extends the gameplay and can be very challenging which can lead to frustration as they are set up under different difficulties but at the same time its well worth it in the end.

The graphics start out at being pretty good for the time and end up being really good. I like the variety of characters and they look pretty good on the tube. There is some storyline but its nothing extravagant by todays standards but what it does do is offer a little in the entertainment value department. This was common by the standards when these games were originally released.

Overall this is a great compilation collection and if you like 2D fighting games I can promise you will not be disappointed.

  5. This game is good if you are a fan of this franchise, but if you haven’t play this game before, any of them you shouldn’t buy it. That’s what happen to me. I have play “King of Fighters” before, but is a normal game a this wii version is nothing new. Just a compilation of different old versions.
